An Exclusive Peek Inside Nugget Market's Winter Field Guide Publication
This past weekend I had the pleasure of joining Nugget Market’s Field Guide Soical Club in celebration of their winter publication.
We started with brunch which included a variety of platters all prepared in house. Delicious quiches, fresh and sustainably sourced salmon, fruits, pastries, and desserts. Even the flower arrangements were deliberate, all sourced from local growers and beautifully arranged by their in-house florist.
We also had a personal tour of the store. Honestly I never thought a grocery store tour would be so interesting lol! I learned that all their staff is trained in product knowledge and everyone is an expert in their department. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable about the products being sold in the store from where the produce is sourced, to the best organic and vegan health and beauty products available.
Shopping at my local grocery, there isn’t a lot of options when it comes to diet trends. I’m on all of them at this point haha, but my point is I spend too much time up and down the isles reading labels and wondering if this is keto friendly, or is that this. Nugget Market carries a majority of items catered to various diet trends. Everything is labeled for you whether it’s Paleo, Plant-Based, Whole 30, or gluten free. I, for one, appreciate things like this as I currently dread going to the grocery store because it seems like such a situation. As a typical millennial, I like things straight forward, quick, and convenient. Plus, their staff can help you if you have any questions about the products!

During the tour there were so many products I had never seen or heard of before. I was introduced to a whole new world of grocery shopping lol!
Nugget Markets carry products from other philanthropic companies as well. So not only are these products environmentally conscious, many of these companies contribute to a variety of causes around the world. So you too are supporting these causes just by your purchases.

Vital Proteins- Ok, so I’m no stranger to Vital Proteins...I wrote a whole blog post about how much I love them (which you can check out here), and I still do! I LOVE my collagen peptides, and I add a scoop to my morning coffee everyday. So thank you Vital Proteins for all the samples!!
Vega- A plant based protein powder, was also there. They showed us how to make Very Vega Energy Bites, which I did not get to try because I was busy making sugar scrub. But everyone seemed to love them. I’m not really into protein shakes, so I like that there’s various uses. I’m always looking for healthy snack ideas, so I will be making these with my samples! This recipe included:
Ingredients
1/2 cup pitted and chopped dried dates
2/3 cup cashews
1 scoop Vega One French Vanilla
1/2 cup shredded, unsweetened coconut, plus extra for coating (optional)
I made an easy DIY essential oil room spray.
1/4 cup distilled water
1/4 cup witches hazel
30-60 drops of your favorite essential oils
I used Orange, Grapefruit, and Eucalyptus which is supposed to be energizing because I can use all the energy boosting I can get!
And next a stress relieving sugar scrub
I/2 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of almond or coconut oil
1/8 cup of Vitamin E
20-30 drops of...I’ll be honest with, I forgot the combo of oils I used, but I’m sure you can look one up!
We wrapped things up with some giveaways, and I won a gift basket filled with Nugget Market brand pasta and sauces (which were delicious that night for dinner), chocolates, coffee, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. (sorry I forgot to take pictures!)
Nugget Markets have so much to offer, and I’m just scratching the surface. If you follow me on social media you know I’m all about the green. Being environmentally conscious and purchasing from like-minded companies is important to me. Nugget Markets eliminates the guess work, and I can feel comfortable with all the purchases I make.
